Grievance Redressal Mechanism

This document sets out the grievance redressal mechanism of Fortyglyph Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") in respect of the website https://thebondproject.in and the services operated under the brand name "The Bond Project" (the "Platform").

This mechanism is published in compliance with:

(a) the Information Technology Act, 2000;

(b) the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, in particular Rule 3(2);

(c) the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023;

(d) the Consumer Protection Act, 2019; and

(e) other applicable laws.


1. What this mechanism covers

You may raise a grievance through this mechanism in respect of any of the following:

(a) issues relating to your User Account or access to the Platform;

(b) issues relating to your Subscription, billing, or payment;

(c) issues relating to the accuracy or display of information on the Platform;

(d) issues relating to your personal data, including requests under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023;

(e) complaints regarding content on the Platform that you believe violates applicable law or our policies;

(f) any other matter relating to your use of the Platform.


2. Grievance Officer

In accordance with Rule 3(2)(a) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Grievance Officer of the Company is:

The Grievance Officer is also the point of contact for data-protection-related complaints under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.


3. How to file a grievance

3.1 To file a grievance, please write to rubin@thebondproject.in with the subject line "Grievance – [brief description]" and include the following information:

(a) your full name;

(b) the email address or mobile number associated with your User Account (if any);

(c) date and time when the issue occurred (where applicable);

(d) a clear and complete description of the grievance, including any relevant screenshots, transaction references, ISINs, or other supporting information;

(e) the remedy or resolution you are seeking;

(f) your preferred contact method.

3.2 You may alternatively send a physical letter to the postal address listed in Section 2.

3.3 We may request additional information from you in order to verify your identity and investigate the grievance.


4. Acknowledgement and resolution timelines

4.1 Acknowledgement. We will acknowledge receipt of your grievance within 24 (twenty-four) hours of receipt, by email to the address from which the grievance was submitted.

4.2 Resolution. We will endeavour to resolve the grievance within 15 (fifteen) days of receipt, in accordance with Rule 3(2)(a) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Where the grievance is complex or requires assistance from a third party (such as your Broker or the payment gateway), the timeline may be extended; in such cases, we will inform you of the expected resolution timeline.

4.3 Data-related requests. Requests relating to your personal data (including access, correction, erasure, or withdrawal of consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) will be handled within the timelines prescribed under that Act and rules made thereunder.

4.4 Removal of unlawful content. Where a grievance relates to content on the Platform that is unlawful and falls within the scope of Rule 3(2)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (including content that exposes the private area of an individual, shows full or partial nudity, sexual act, or impersonation in electronic form), we will take action to remove or disable access to such content within 24 (twenty-four) hours of receipt of a valid complaint.


5. Escalation matrix

If you are not satisfied with the resolution provided, or if the timeline has not been met, you may escalate as follows:

Until the Company is registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as a Research Analyst or other intermediary, the SEBI SCORES portal and the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) mechanism prescribed under the SEBI (Online Resolution of Disputes in the Indian Securities Market) Regulations are not available routes of recourse against the Company. Once the Company is so registered, this section will be updated and the SCORES route will be made available.


6. External recourse

If you remain dissatisfied after exhausting the Company's internal grievance redressal mechanism, you may approach the following authorities or forums, as applicable:

(a) Data Protection Board of India — for complaints relating to your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, once the Board is fully operational;

(b) Consumer forums under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — for consumer disputes, at the appropriate District, State, or National Commission;

(c) Courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India — which have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of your use of the Platform, subject to the Terms of Use;

(d) Cyber crime authorities — including the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (https://cybercrime.gov.in) for cyber-related complaints.

Disputes relating to execution, settlement, brokerage, or any other Broker-side matter should be raised with your Broker directly, including via the Broker's grievance redressal mechanism and the SEBI SCORES portal.


7. Records

The Company maintains records of all grievances received, the steps taken to resolve them, and the outcomes. Grievance records are retained for at least 3 (three) years from the date of resolution, in compliance with applicable law.


8. Anti-impersonation notice

Please note:

(a) The Company communicates with Users only through email addresses ending in @thebondproject.in and through the Platform itself;

(b) Our representatives will never ask you for:

(c) If you receive any communication that purports to be from "The Bond Project" but originates from any other email address, phone number, or social media account, please treat it as suspicious and report it to rubin@thebondproject.in.


9. Changes to this mechanism

The Company may update this Grievance Redressal Mechanism from time to time. The updated mechanism will be posted on the Platform with a revised "Last updated" date.
